Tolls in Serbia – information on toll collection, map of toll roads

Toll roads in Serbia include the A1, A2, A3 and A4 motorways connecting parts of the country to the capital Belgrade.

The obligation to pay a toll to use the motorway applies to all vehicles, from motorcycles to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of over 3.5 tonnes. A map of all the toll motorways in the country can be found at the bottom of this page.

The price categories of vehicles are divided according to the height of the vehicle above the front axle, the overall height of the vehicle, the number of axles and the maximum permissible gross laden weight, in addition to motorcycles. An outline for easy identification of the vehicle category is given in the toll price list (www.putevi-srbije.rs).

Tolls are collected at toll gates on motorways and can be paid in cash in local currency, Serbian dinars, euros, credit cards, ETC on-board units or monthly or annual prepaid cards designed for the selected section.

For regular users, an electronic payment system with an ETC on-board unit, which can be used in both pre- and post-payment modes, has been designed to facilitate payment and ensure smooth passage through the toll gates.

When paying via ETC in prepaid mode, a discount of 4-8% is available, depending on the amount prepaid.

Information on the ETC system and a list of distribution points can be found at putevi-srbije.rs.

Prices for all toll roads and detailed information on payment methods are available on putevi-srbije.rs.

In some cases, people with disabilities can obtain a permit to use motorways without paying tolls. The application requires a certificate issued by one of the institutions mentioned in the general conditions (putevi-srbije.rs).

Persons living in the municipalities of Mladenovac, Sopot and Grocka, near Belgrade, can apply for a city ticket, which allows them to use toll motorways free of charge in their place of residence.
