Toll Spain – information on tolls, toll roads map
Tolls are collected at toll gates on the main motorways crossing the country and on certain tunnels that form part of the toll motorways. Toll collection in Spain is carried out by several different companies. The toll for motorways applies to all vehicles, including motorcycles. Tolls can be paid by cash, credit card, debit and fuel cards at toll gates, or by on-board unit (Via via on-board unit), and in some places also by the Awai mobile app. Tolls for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are collected in the same way as for cars.
On some motorways, a discount of up to 100% is available. The level of any discount varies depending on the toll system operator, the payment method and the number of crossings. The discount options are available on the toll system operators’ websites (https://www.viat.es/).
Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are subject to the same toll as vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Via can be paid using an on-board unit, cash and payment or fuel cards. In Spain, on certain days, there are traffic restrictions for certain vehicles, an overview of which can be found on the Restricciones a la circulación page on the dgt.es website.
Toll tunnels
There are two toll tunnels in south-east Spain, the Túnel de Vallvidrera near Barcelona and the Túnel del Cadí near Andorra. The tunnels are part of the toll motorways, so tolls can be paid manually, at toll gates or through the Via-T system.

Túnel del Cadí | 10.86 EUR | 13.48 EUR | tunels.cat |
